It's a proven fact that walking is a great way to get regular
exercise and to lose weight safely. Most Americans walk everyday
to get to and from their daily activities. However, in order to
lose a significant amount of weight and get toned, you need to
walk one to five miles on average.

When it comes to walking for exercise, most of us have good
intentions to get out there and stroll around the block a couple
of times, or walk along the park trail or create a walking group
with our friends. In most cases, we end up either doing it a
